Reiki came into my life as more than a healing modality — it became a bridge back to myself.
Reiki, founded by Mikao Usui, works with universal life force energy to restore balance in the body. But what I experienced went far beyond relaxation.
During my Reiki training, my teacher Manisha guided us through a past life regression using Reiki energy. She asked us to focus on one issue that was deeply bothering us.
My focus was fertility.
In that regression, I was taken to an incident from a past life that, energetically, was connected to the PCOS and fertility struggles I was experiencing in this life. Whether you interpret that literally, symbolically, or energetically — what mattered was the awareness it brought.
That awareness made me relax.
For the first time, I stopped fighting my body. I stopped asking, “Why is this happening to me?” and started asking, “What is my body trying to show me?”
And something shifted.

Healing the Whole Self
Healing fertility issues requires healing your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual body.
- Physical – Supporting hormones, movement, nourishment.
- Mental – Releasing fear, doubt, and overthinking.
- Emotional – Letting go of grief, shame, and stored trauma.
- Spiritual – Reconnecting with trust and surrender.
PCOS is often linked to stress, insulin resistance, and inflammation — but stress isn’t only external. Sometimes it’s the constant inner battle with our own body.
Reiki helped calm my nervous system. It moved me from survival mode into safety. And when the body feels safe, it regulates better.
Talking to My Body Changed Everything
Alongside Reiki, I was already practicing yoga and using tools from Access Consciousness. But one of the most powerful realizations was this:
Talk to your body. Trust your body. Communicate with it.
Your body is not working against you.
Your body is your best friend. It helps you convert your ideas into action. It carries you through life. And it always desires movement.
When I began speaking kindly to my ovaries, my womb, my hormones — instead of resenting them — I felt a deep internal shift.
It may sound simple, but it’s profound.
I asked my body:
- What do you require today?
- What would create more ease?
- How can I support you?
And then listen.
Movement Is Medicine
Our bodies are designed to move.
For me, it was yoga, walking and dancing. The gentle stretching, the breathwork, the grounding — it helped regulate my system.
For you, it might be:
- Running
- Jogging
- Gym workouts
- Swimming
- Dancing
It doesn’t matter what it is — what matters is that your body enjoys it.
Movement improves insulin sensitivity (a key factor in PCOS), reduces stress hormones, and enhances blood flow to reproductive organs. But beyond the science, it reconnects you to your physical self.
And reconnection is healing.
Reiki and Fertility: What It Truly Does
Reiki may not “cure” PCOS in the conventional sense, but it can:
- Reduce stress and cortisol levels
- Improve emotional balance
- Release energetic blocks in the sacral (womb) area
- Deepen trust in your body
- Create a sense of safety and surrender
Fertility is not just about mechanics. It is about receptivity.
When your body feels pressured, judged, or unsafe, it tightens.
When it feels supported, heard, and nurtured, it opens.
Reiki helped me move from control to trust.
