The Quiet Shift: Living With Reiki

The Quiet Shift: Living With Reiki

When I first started Reiki, it was just something I practiced. A few minutes in a day. A quiet routine I followed.

I didn’t think it would go beyond that.

But somewhere along the way… it did.

🌿 It Slowly Became a Part of Me

I didn’t notice the shift immediately.

There wasn’t a moment where I thought, “Okay, now everything is different.”

It was much quieter than that.

But one day, I realized I was responding to life differently.

Not because I was trying to—but because something inside me had changed.

🌱 I Started Listening to Myself

Earlier, I had a habit of ignoring what I felt.

If something bothered me, I would push it aside. Tell myself it’s not a big deal. Move on quickly.

But now, I find myself pausing. Noticing what I’m feeling. Acknowledging it instead of brushing it away.

🧠 My Mind Feels Less Noisy

Overthinking used to be constant.

Replaying conversations.
Imagining outcomes.
Thinking ten steps ahead.

Now, it’s not completely gone—but it’s quieter.

There’s more space between thoughts.

✨ I React Less, I Understand More

Situations that would earlier trigger me instantly… don’t have the same effect anymore.

I don’t react as quickly.
I take a moment.

And that small pause has made a big difference in my relationships and daily life.

🌙 My Intuition Became Stronger

This was something I didn’t expect.

Over time, I noticed my intuition becoming stronger.
I could sense situations more clearly and sometimes foresee how things might unfold.

It felt like a quiet inner guidance—something I started trusting more with time.

🌼 I Felt Drawn to Help Others

As my journey deepened, I naturally felt more inclined to support others.

Sometimes it was through listening.
Sometimes through sharing.
And sometimes, through Reiki.

During the COVID phase, when many people around me were unwell and anxious, I used Reiki as a supportive practice.

Many shared that they felt immediate relief—especially in terms of calmness and ease in breathing.

It wasn’t about replacing medical care.
It was about offering comfort during a difficult time.

There was also an instance with an elderly lady, around 80, who suddenly faced a serious health concern. Reiki was practiced alongside her treatment.

What stood out was how quickly things began to settle.

Even the doctors couldn’t clearly explain the sudden improvement.

For me, it wasn’t about having answers—it was about witnessing what healing can look like.

🌿 And Somewhere Along the Way…

I stopped looking at Reiki as something I do.

It no longer felt like a practice I had to sit down for.

It had quietly become a part of how I live.

In the way I pause before reacting.
In the way I listen—to myself and to others.
In the way I trust what I feel.

There are still difficult days.
There are still moments of stress and uncertainty.

But they don’t feel the same anymore.

There’s a certain steadiness now… a quiet sense of support within.

Reiki didn’t come into my life as something dramatic.

It stayed… as something gentle, consistent, and quietly powerful.
